We'd been to Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Ghana, Seychelles, and every time, the same feeling followed us home. The Africa we'd just experienced barely matched the one people pictured when we told them where we'd been. Not just safari. Not just the version on the news either. Beaches that make the Maldives look ordinary. Cities with more style than half of Europe. History old enough to make your head spin.
So we started building the company we wished we could've booked through ourselves. Something closer to how a good food critic covers a new city, curious, thorough, actually there, than how most travel sites cover Africa.
There's one rule every package here has to follow: we don't sell it unless we've done it. We've stood at Anse Source d'Argent in Seychelles, kayaked past those granite boulders, and been shown (badly, at first) how to open a coconut. Every other destination on this site has to earn its place the same way.
No brochures. No stock photos pretending to be somewhere. Just the real trip, planned properly, by people who've actually taken it.
